Yes, after opening the pattern in your PDF viewer (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader) you can simply print it at home. You can enlarge the pattern by choosing “Tile large pages” and setting the zoom to 100% or 150% – you may need to experiment a little to get the desired size.

All patterns will be e-mailed to you, so you can finish them at your own pace and at your own convenience. It’s no problem if you fall behind, you can enjoy stitching at your own pace and share your progress in our Facebook group.

Yes! Lots of people make changes ranging from subtle color changes to designing completely new pattern sections. If you join the Facebook group you will find lots of patterns by members! Be sure to comply with all copyright laws and if you are using a pattern by someone else you 1) ask for their permission, 2) purchase the pattern or 3) make sure it is a legitimate freebie.

All Stitchonomy SALs are designed for 14 count Aida, but you can easily switch to 16 of 18 count for a smaller design. To get the fabric size in inches, divide the SAL’s stitch count by the fabric count. For example, if a design is 140 stitches wide, the 16 count fabric needs to be 140 / 16 = 8.75” wide. Remember to add an extra 2 – 3” around for framing!

You can find the stitch count in the first email of the SAL, or under “useful links” in every subsequent email.
